Relationship of livestock to agriculture

Let me talk about “The relationship of livestock to agriculture”.

So many farm animals such as cattle, horse, poultry, goat sheep, … are reared by farm today.

What kind of image do you have about livestock?

Some people might image like they are reared in cage or shell.

However, the “karabaws” which live in Philippine is difference from other livestock image.

Many Filipino farmers have karabaw not only for drinking their milk, eating their meat, but also cultivating fields with people.

Japanese had their own livestock like Filipino do in the past, but a lot of machines changed their life style. I think it is the reason why Japanese have own image of livestock now.

Karabaws are extremely familiar to everyone in Philippine so I could have opportunity to ride on them when I was in Filipino farm.

I felt very scary because their back was enough rough to be thrown off.

Farmer let them cultivate the soil by plow and ride on them for indicating the directions where they go.

Japanese use a tractor for cultivate soil effectively now but when I watched Filipino farmers, my image of livestock was changed. That was so amazed experience for me.

“Agriculture with animals” is the one of the keywords for agricultural enjoyment in the future.

People develop agriculture by machines, ITs, IoTs and so on but therefore “agriculture with animals” is interesting.

Don’t you think?

If someone have farm like I write, I want to talk with you for the agricultural future.
