I am still trying to hear from various people, so I visited a farmer who has been a great help to me.

Start a new Farm in Japan

The farmer I visited this time has been helping me for more than 7 years and produces grapes and persimmons.

I talked with him about my concerns about becoming a new farmer, and about my future plans.

I shared with him my uneasiness about deciding what to grow, sales promotion and management strategy.

One phrase that echoed in my mind was, “Farmers are free”.

First, farmers are allowed to gather the information they can utilize and make choices as they feel like.

“If you feel something is not right, you can stop.” This is a very simple answer, but it really resonated with me.

I realized that I had somehow made up my mind that once I made a choice, there was no going back. If I felt I had made a mistake, I could change direction.

You can turn back as much as you want as long as you don’t cause trouble for others. This is because a farmer is a business owner and free.

My personality is such that when I start worrying, my options become limited, so this visit allowed me to relax in a good way.
